On December 17, Zhou Nong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, went to the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) to investigate the progress of the reform of the industrial worker team building in state-owned assets and enterprises and held a symposium. Xiao Wenwei, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial SASAC; Luo Qiong, Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions; Yang Xiaoyu, Deputy Secretary and Vice Director of the Provincial SASAC Party Committee; Song Zhengrong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions; and Li Chi, Chairman of the Provincial Organs Trade Union, attended the symposium.

At the meeting, Zhang Puquan, an employee of Jintian Titanium, gave a speech as a representative of industrial workers. He shared his 19 years of experience in the field of twenty-roll rolling mills, expressing his continued love and unwavering pursuit of rolling technology, and his firm determination to improve rolling mill technology and efficiency. Zhang Puquan stated that he will continue to uphold the spirit of craftsmanship, explore new technologies and methods, continuously improve his professional skills, continue to shine and create efficiency in his position, and contribute to the construction of a leading domestic and world-class new material enterprise.

Zhou Nong carefully listened to the speeches of Zhang Puquan and other enterprise representatives and emphasized that state-owned enterprises, as important bases for the construction of industrial worker teams, should strengthen their political responsibility and provide more experience and models for the province's deepening reform of industrial worker team building. They should actively implement the requirements of the reform of the industrial worker team building, give full play to the exemplary and leading role of model workers and skilled talents, and play a leading role in writing the Hunan chapter of Chinese-style modernization. They should effectively guarantee the status of industrial workers as masters of their own affairs, protect their labor and economic rights and interests, implement supporting systems, and effectively enhance industrial workers' sense of ownership and pride. They should strengthen communication and coordination, jointly improve the effectiveness of the reform of industrial worker team building, and build a working pattern that combines vertical and horizontal coordination, top-down collaboration, and joint promotion of the reform of industrial worker team building.
