On the morning of August 23, the general branch of the Xiangtou Jintiantianjin Party Committee held a general meeting of party members to conduct the election of the new general branch committee. Yang Sheng, deputy secretary and general manager of Jintiantech Group Party Committee, and relevant comrades from the Jintiantech Group Discipline Inspection Commission and Party and Mass Work Comprehensive Department attended the meeting to provide guidance. Yang Youzhi, member of the fourth Party branch committee and executive deputy general manager of Xiangtou Jintiantianjin, presided over the meeting and delivered a work report on behalf of the fourth Party branch committee.
The work report of the fourth committee of the company's Party branch first reviewed the achievements made in the integration of party organization building and company production and operation in the past three years, including promoting the Party's leadership over state-owned enterprises, adhering to the Party's leadership in production and operation, fulfilling the responsibility of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party, and leading mass organizations. It also proposed suggestions on the overall thinking and goals of organizational building for the next Party branch, calling on all party members, cadres, and employees of the company to work together, accurately grasp the requirements of high-quality leapfrog development, and achieve success in improving the company's scale, quality, and efficiency, and comprehensively enhancing its competitiveness, influence, and risk-resistance capabilities.
The meeting elected seven comrades—Kong Bin, Sun Jinyu, Liu Tiexin, Yang Youzhi, Zhou Can, Zeng Xianshan, and Pan Ye (in order of the number of strokes in their surnames)—as members of the fifth Party branch committee of Hunan Xiangtou Jintiantianjin Titanium Metal Co., Ltd. At the subsequent first plenary meeting of the fifth Party branch committee, Comrade Zeng Xianshan was elected as the new secretary of the Party branch.
Comrade Zeng Xianshan, on behalf of the newly elected Party branch committee members, made a statement. He stated that in future work, he would further strengthen the study and practice of the Party's innovative theories, continuously improve the ability to ‘closely follow the Party,’ earnestly perform his duties, continuously enhance the cohesion of the committee, consolidate the prevention and control of corruption risks, work hard to build a stronger organization and a stronger team, and push the company's high-quality leapfrog development to a new level.
Finally, Comrade Yang Sheng, deputy secretary and general manager of the Jintiantech Group Party Committee, congratulated the successful convening of the meeting and the newly elected committee members on behalf of the Jintiantech Group Party Committee. While fully affirming the company's past achievements, he also put forward four requirements for the Xiangtou Jintiantianjin Party branch: First, always adhere to political construction as the fundamental, guide all party members and cadres to effectively improve their political judgment, political understanding, and political execution capabilities, enhance strategic thinking and systematic thinking, and fully implement the major decisions and arrangements and various key tasks of the Group Party Committee; second, comprehensively consolidate the foundation of grassroots Party organizations, make good use of mechanisms such as themed party days, ‘one lesson, one article, one practice’, party member points management, and democratic assessment, actively and deeply carry out the activities of ‘secretary tackling difficulties’ and ‘party members creating excellent achievements’, strengthen the construction of party building brands, and promote the overall improvement of grassroots party building work; third, firmly grasp the main line of integrating party building, earnestly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on building a modernized industrial system, seize the opportunity for the development of deep processing of titanium materials, and continuously consolidate and expand the brand influence and market share of the ‘Jintiantianjin brand’ in the titanium industry chain; fourth, firmly grasp the direction of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party.
