On June 10, the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Award Conference was held in Changsha.

A total of 287 projects won the 2019 Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Award, including 1 Outstanding Contribution Award, 74 Natural Science Awards (7 first prizes, 31 second prizes, and 36 third prizes), 26 Technological Invention Awards (7 first prizes, 10 second prizes, and 9 third prizes), 180 Scientific and Technological Progress Awards (16 first prizes, 67 second prizes, and 97 third prizes), 3 Scientific and Technological Innovation Team Awards, and 3 International Science and Technology Cooperation Awards.
