Xiangtou Group held a training class for grassroots party branch secretaries in 2020

From December 9th to 11th, Xiangtou Group's 2020 Grassroots Party Branch Secretary Training Class was held in Shaoshan, with nearly 100 grassroots party organization secretaries participating. Zhang Chongzheng, deputy secretary of the Xiangtou Group Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and gave a lecture.
Zhang Chongzheng gave a speech at the opening ceremony. He emphasized that all trainees should: 1. Raise their standing and fully understand the importance of this training session. Strengthening the grassroots party branch secretary team is an urgent need for state-owned enterprises to strengthen their roots and build their souls, an urgent need to implement the three-year action plan for state-owned enterprise reform, and an urgent need to improve the quality of enterprise party building. 2. Strengthen their sense of responsibility and enhance their sense of mission in grasping party building work; politically, they must demonstrate absolute loyalty; ideologically, they must strengthen their sense of responsibility; and in their work, they must be courageous in pioneering and innovating. 3. Cherish this opportunity and ensure they learn and apply what they learn. They should strictly abide by discipline and rules, ensure learning effectiveness, and promote party building development.
Zhang Chongzheng gave a party lesson entitled "Comprehensively Improving the Quality of State-owned Enterprise Party Branch Construction in the New Era." The course comprehensively analyzed and expounded on the importance and profound implications of state-owned enterprise party branch construction in the new era from four aspects: in-depth study and understanding of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on strengthening party branch construction in the new era; fully understanding the significance of the "Regulations of the Communist Party of China on the Work of Party Branches (Trial Implementation)"; fully grasping the main content of the "Regulations of the Communist Party of China on the Work of Party Branches (Trial Implementation)"; and deepening the high-quality development of party branch construction in the new era. He emphasized that the core, innovation, and vitality of enterprise party building lie at the grassroots level; consolidating the construction of grassroots party organizations depends on each branch secretary taking the lead; only by grasping the grassroots level and laying a solid foundation can party building work be taken to a new level.
This training session specially invited relevant leaders and experts from the Hunan Provincial Party School of the Communist Party of China, the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department, and the Organization Department of the Provincial SASAC Party Committee to give lectures on topics such as: "Embarking on a New Journey of Building a Modern Socialist Country in an All-round Way – Interpretation of the 19th Five-Year Plan," interpretation of the "Regulations of the Communist Party of China on the Work of Grassroots Organizations in State-owned Enterprises (Trial Implementation)" and the "Regulations of the Communist Party of China on the Election of Grassroots Organizations," and the "Important Thoughts of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Party Building in State-owned Enterprises in the New Era."
During the training, the trainees presented flower baskets to Chairman Mao's statue at the Mao Zedong Square in Shaoshan, renewed their oath to join the Party, and conducted on-site teaching at the Shaoshan Special Branch of the Communist Party of China Historical Exhibition Hall. Through various teaching methods such as thematic lectures, on-site teaching, interview teaching, and party affairs knowledge tests, trainees further improved their Party spirit, their ability to handle grassroots party building work, and promoted the development of grassroots infrastructure.
The participating branch secretaries stated that the training was rich in form, practical and effective, and highly beneficial. Chai Donghe, secretary of the first party branch of Jinting Group, said that this training was timely and provided strong guidance for the next step in the organizational work of the Xiangtou Jinting Science and Technology Reform Demonstration Project. As a grassroots party branch secretary, he feels a great responsibility and will strive to make progress. Zhang Chenxi, secretary of the Party branch of the provincial pipeline network company, said that through the training, his theoretical level and professional skills have been improved. After returning to his post, he will transform the spiritual nourishment into action and the learning achievements into work efficiency to provide stronger political and grassroots organizational guarantees for the "Hunan Gasification Project."
