　　Construction began in October 2009, a titanium slab was trial-rolled in June 2010, and cold rolling went into full production in October 2011... Yesterday, reporters learned from Hunan Xiangtou Jintiantian Titanium Metal Co., Ltd. that by the end of this year, the company's construction of the world's largest titanium plate and strip production base will be completed in Changsha, reaching an annual capacity of 10,000 tons of titanium strip coils, greatly promoting the development of China's titanium metal industry.

　　In 2009, Hunan Xiangtou Jintiantian Titanium Metal Co., Ltd. invested 1.45 billion yuan in the construction of China's first high-performance titanium plate and strip project in the High-tech Zone, utilizing its independent intellectual property rights. The main construction included infrastructure such as factories and warehouses, and the purchase of production line equipment. Two production plants, hot rolling and cold rolling, were constructed, covering an area of over 200 mu, with an annual output of 10,000 tons of titanium strip coils. This changed China's long-term reliance on imports of titanium strip coils and provided key material support for China's major aircraft, nuclear power, and marine engineering strategic projects. Currently, the external building and production workshops have been completed, hot rolling is in production, and cold rolling equipment is undergoing installation and commissioning. It is scheduled to officially go into production in October this year.
