　　On the morning of March 27, Hunan Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hunan Energy Group") was inaugurated in Changsha.

　　Hunan Energy Group was established mainly by Hunan Xiangtou Holding Group Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 30 billion yuan. It is positioned as a provincial-level platform for comprehensive energy investment, construction, and operation in Hunan Province and the main body for implementing the province's energy strategy. It is responsible for implementing the province's energy development strategy, undertaking the functional tasks of energy supply security in the province, implementing the tasks of developing energy resources within the province, undertaking the investment and construction of major energy projects, and representing the province in conducting major energy project cooperation both inside and outside the province.

　　Hunan Energy Group will focus on its vision of building a first-class comprehensive energy group in China, focusing on its core energy business. It will accelerate the construction of a number of major power generation projects with stable supply, such as coal-fired power, gas-fired power, and pumped storage. It will vigorously develop wind and solar energy, actively promote the introduction of external electricity into Hunan, and accelerate the formation of a new pattern of multi-energy complementation of "wind, light, water, fire, and storage". It will comprehensively promote the integrated development of the upstream and downstream industries of natural gas, comprehensively improve the development and utilization level of natural gas in the province, and gradually establish a modernized energy industry cluster integrating energy planning and design, investment and construction, production and operation, energy trading, equipment manufacturing, materials, big data, and comprehensive energy services, playing a leading role in the high-quality development of energy in the province.

　　From 2024 to 2030, Hunan Energy Group's investment in the energy sector will exceed 100 billion yuan. By 2025, it will achieve a controlled power generation capacity of over 10 million kilowatts, accounting for more than 10% of the province's total power generation capacity; by 2030, it will achieve a controlled power generation capacity of 22 million kilowatts, accounting for 20% of the province's total power generation capacity.
